My name is Tara, and I am a Bay Area suburban backyard gardener as well as a certified Master Gardener.
My sweet Mum taught me the basics of gardening as a child, and ignited a passion that continues to burn brightly. I hope to do the same... and to help new gardeners gain the confidence to grow some of their own vegetables, herbs and fruits AND flowers by showing them simple proven techniques.
I believe in learning through doing, and I am always trying new things and conducting little experiments of my own, because there is so much science in Nature that is yet to be discovered!
