The Lost Attic Tapes. A box of reel to reel tapes lost for over 40 years and re- discovered twelve months ago in a corner of the loft space. They had been subject to some pretty extreme weather conditions over the years , including unfortunately, some water damage. Since then they have undergone considerable repair work and are now restored to the best of my ability. They are not perfect They are audio recordings taken from British TV, via a 1960's reel to reel tape machine using a hand held mike in front of a mono only tv, so they were not brilliant recordings in the first place. Nevertheless they are a precious record of a period, roughly 1969 - 1973, when Herman's Hermits played out the last few months of their contracts and Peter Noone embarked upon a solo career. I was a big fan. At just 23 years of age, Peter was the Harry Styles of his day, and Herman's Hermits were huge stars. These recordings will carry the [ATTIC] logo.
