1. The Expanding Universe
Modern science confirms that the universe is expanding, a fact discovered by Edwin Hubble in 1929. However, the Quran mentioned this over 1400 years ago:
"And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander." (Quran 51:47)
2. Embryology and Human Development
The Quran accurately describes the stages of human development in the womb, which was only discovered in detail with modern embryology:
"We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators." (Quran 23:12-14)
Renowned embryologist Dr. Keith Moore, after studying these verses, stated that such detailed knowledge could not have been known in the 7th century without divine revelation.
3. Mountains as Pegs for Stability
Geology confirms that mountains have deep roots and function like pegs to stabilize the earth’s crust. The Quran mentions this fact:
"And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them..." (Quran 21:31)
4. The Barrier Between Salt and Fresh Water
Oceanography has discovered that when saltwater and freshwater meet, they do not mix completely due to a barrier between them. The Quran mentioned this 1400 years ago:
"He has released the two seas, meeting side by side. Between them is a barrier so neither of them transgresses." (Quran 55:19-20)
5. Iron Sent from Space
Modern science confirms that iron did not originate from Earth but came from meteors and was sent down from space. The Quran states:
"And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people..." (Quran 57:25)
6. The Protective Atmosphere
The Earth's atmosphere protects us from harmful radiation and meteorites, a fact only known recently. The Quran describes this:
"And We made the sky a protective ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away." (Quran 21:32)
7. The Deep Sea and Darkness
Science has discovered that at great ocean depths, light does not penetrate, and there are layers of darkness. The Quran describes this phenomenon:
"Or [they are] like darknesses within a vast deep sea, covered by waves, upon which are [other] waves, over which are clouds—darknesses, some of them upon others. If one puts out his hand [therein], he can hardly see it. And he to whom Allah has not granted light—for him there is no light." (Quran 24:40)

• The Quran was revealed over 1400 years ago when none of these scientific facts were known.
• There were no microscopes, telescopes, or modern scientific tools at that time.
• The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was illiterate and could not have gathered this knowledge from human sources.
• Many scientists who studied the Quran’s scientific miracles have embraced Islam.
The only explanation is that the Quran is the word of Allah (God), the Creator of the universe. No other religious book contains such scientific accuracy.
"We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth..." (Quran 41:53)
