I'm happy to read that Texas has a law that if you are convicted of animal cruelty, you are prohibited from owning an animal for 5 years. I wish it was for life, though. Thankfully, the monkey is at a sanctuary that is addressing his health problems.

This is an unusual case. A mom with a multitude of charges in her sons suicide. I'm glad "parents" are finally being held responsible for their culpability in their minor children's crimes.

If you are following Ernie Shell and the Lightning Tiger Saga, this is interesting. It's a phone call from one of his followers when he was in jail in Madison County awaiting his pre-trial court date. . He really does need mental health help. He doesn't sound like he's even in touch with reality. After court, he was transferred back to Three Forks in Beattyville. I haven't seen a trial date posted yet.

Tragically, little Joshua McCoy was found deceased. No cause of death has been released, and the investigation is ongoing. He would have turned 6 this week. 😪
