Headed home around 1 am or so and to my pleasure I came across a malfunctioning railroad crossing.

This is just a screen shot, but I was down by the train station the other day and saw they had the 40th anniversary P42DC Genesis from 2011 rolling through town.
Didn't know it was back, so im gonna try to hit the station a day or 3 and see if I can get some good views of this beauty..

As we got in the car and faced our 4 and some hours drive home, we had stopped back at Bethlehem steel on the way to see it lit up.
It was a beautiful night and everything looked magnificent in the lights. What a pleasure to be able to walk back through there again and experience it..
Im putting together a short video of our walk through, should be up a little later tonight.
Just a quick one and unfortunately the video doesn't show the true beauty of the facility lit up in that night sky like the pictures do.
Still pretty cool though, come check it out with usπ

Hello friends, I hope everyone is doing wonderful.
The last month or so I've been ridiculously and overwhelmingly busy with different things. Traveling for different events, banquets, out of state dinners, maybe a last-minute impromptu vacation. Places that are still open for business. π with Summer coming to an end, I wanted to do a little bit more.
That being said I really haven't picked up a camera, explored or filmed anything in a while.
So a few days ago a friend picked me up and we headed south towards Philadelphia for the weekend to do a little exploring. Little did I know there was a surprise stop at the old Bethlehem Steel factory (The Steel Stacks). This is a facility that I have wanted to visit for years, but had no idea they turned it into a tourist attraction, built a beautiful walkway right on top of the original tracks and opened it to the public.
This is the single most impressive structure I have ever visited or seen. Towering over the city in all its rusted steel Glory I was in yesterday's Industrial heaven. Then on the way home we stopped again to see it lit up at night. We even went across town to see it from there and found a dope graveyard. So that was a W as well.
It's a nice little area with a brewery, movie theater, cultural arts center and a TV station to name a few things. I may even take the 4-Hour ride down there again sometime just to check everything else out.
I hope to get a little time tonight to sit down and start editing the video. It'll be a little different than my normal videos but I had a blast making it and I hope I'm able to get that to come through in the finished product.

Just thinking about our friends up in Canada, hope everyone is okay.
I have no idea how far the smoke is reaching but I'm in southern Connecticut about 500 miles or so from Quebec, and this is what the skies look like here today.
You can smell the actual fire, with ash in the air. I can't imagine what everybody has going through up there right now.
I just pray for the people dealing with this. God bless my friends

We finally got some snow this year.
I'm working on a video of searching for an old train bridge deep in the woods from a while back, but once I'm done, I want to make a small video of me getting to the shop and getting the plow out for the first time in quite a while. Just made a bunch of random clips, but if I can get it to tell a story, I may try to put something together. It's been so long, I don't even remember how I did snow videosπ€·ββοΈ

Stay safe out there tonight if you go out, even if you're not doing anything, a lot of others are. I like to call it amateur night or DUI open mic night.
Drive safely and please keep an eye on every other vehicle on the road, you never know on a night like tonight.
Thank you again for following Along on this journey, this has been one of the most incredible things I've ever started. I never imagined what a trip it would become, and how many people I would meet, friends I would make.

Welcome to RICH DISCOVERIES where we get out and discover the beauty around us every day. Whether it's a beautiful abandoned house, building, abandoned car or railroad tracks, we will explore it.
We also like to document some cool car projects up at the shop and and an occasional daily vlog if i'm doing or playing with something interesting.
Come winter time I love the snow, so I will include clips of me preparing for a storm and even some clips of me plowing.
