At the end of 2018 I took a gamble. The humble but consistent views generated from some old Heart of Darkness videos gave me the confidence to invest time and energy into something I wasn't fully sure anyone actually wanted: long-form, unflashy videos to help students not just speed through their homework, but to engage in analytical thought and exploration.
