Hello all, I apologize for not getting to this sooner, life is busy...

We've had a surprising amount of people ask about where the upload for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is. It seems many recognize the quality we put into our uploads and want to have that for XC3 itself and for playlist consistency with the other uploads on this channel.

Our standard of quality takes a lot of time to prepare the actual audio; this is especially true of Xenoblade 3, which unexpectedly has lots of dynamic music that would need to be manually edited together and trimmed. This is not trivial work, and the numerous errors I've noticed in many other uploads are indicative of this. Jass and I have lots of audio editing experience and could certainly do it correctly, we've just never gotten around to actually doing it.

I've also considered digging through the game data to figure out how loop information is stored, and making a tool to stitch it together automatically using that data, but I've had no motivation to do that either as it would still be rather time consuming and largely uninteresting. I've technically had more than enough free time by now to do it all by now, but when I do get free time, I never feel any real desire to do it. A big factor in this is that I ended up not really enjoying XC3, and that makes it difficult to want to spend what little free time I have on it, but that's besides the point.

All that is to say the upload isn't coming, at least not any time soon. The other uploads out there are good enough for the most part, and there seems to be at least one properly edited version of the OST on a certain non-youtube website, though admittedly I haven't bothered to thoroughly check either of those things.

I think the most likely thing at this point is, if the game ever gets an official CD soundtrack release, we'll upload that if it's not officially available on prominent music streaming platforms.

I apologize for taking so long to address this, and I apologize for any disappointment

Hey folks! Quickly noting that we've been made aware some tracks were missing from our Ripple Dot Zero uploads so those tracks have been uploaded as game-rips and are now available on the playlist.

We'll also have an update on the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 upload situation soon-ish.

Hey folks! We've got a couple of things we'd like to talk about regarding our next soundtrack upload, the which being Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

First, we'd like to let everyone know that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been leaked a week ahead of its release and to watch out for spoilers around the web as those will begin to show up.

Secondly, we've gotten our hands on the game ahead of time as well, and while we're planning on ripping and uploading the entire soundtrack, it might take some time as we need to get through the game ourselves so we can properly understand the context behind all of the music for the sake of being able to organize and classify these tracks properly. This means our uploads will probably not be the first around and may not get the most views initially, but you can all rest assured they'll be well organized and of high quality.

We appreciate your patience and hope your are all looking forward to listening to the soundtrack!

Hello folks! Hope you're all having a great day. We've taken notice that ever since GilvaSunner's channel went down there hasn't been a complete, good quality upload of the Kirby 64 soundtrack so we decided to upload the soundtrack ourselves. One of the best soundtracks in the series, honestly. These uploads will go live shortly.
You can listen to the soundtrack here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI...

We wanted to rip the soundtrack ourselves at first but we came across some accuracy issues that at this time we couldn't exactly figure out, though we hope to be able to in the future. For now though, we've uploaded the track versions featured in the official "Hoshi no Kirby 64" album as well as some pre-existing rips for the tracks the official soundtrack was missing.

We did also want to note that unfortunately during the uploading process the "File Select" track was copyright claimed and blocked globally by UMG because the song "Kirby's Selecta" by Juice WRLD samples the entirety of the Kirby 64 track. It's funny how they're copyright claiming the music track that sample originated from, isn't it?
We've attempted to upload and trim the track multiple times with no luck as it keeps getting claimed. Because of this our uploads will be missing the file select track until we're able to figure out how to get around the copyright claim; we're very sorry for this. That said, every other track was uploaded without problems!

Anyway, thank you so much for tuning into the Jam Output Entity and happy listening!

It has now been one full month since Kirby and the Forgotten Land released... Has it been enough time to change the temp track title containing a spoiler to its real title? Most uploads didn't bother to hide the spoiler at all, and most people who would care about being spoiled by that have likely already reached that point in the game already. If you don't think it should be changed, drop a comment explaining why!

Greetings everyone! We've been busy ripping the soundtrack for the recently released Kirby and the Forgotten Land and our upload of the soundtrack should be live right now! As far as we can tell, our uploads are the only ones at the moment that have proper loop points and track fade-outs, as well as the only ones organized using the in-game jukebox ordering.
We believe that these things should make our uploads prime for sharing with other people and adding to your personal playlists! We ripped and edited these tracks in a rather short amount of time, so if you happen to catch any mistakes in our uploads of the soundtrack, please let us know!

Listen to the soundtrack here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5qNc...

Thank you for tuning into the Jam Output Entity and happy listening!

Hello! Been a little while.
The "Mamorukun Curse!" soundtrack that had been previously uploaded on the Hiramatsu Jass channel has now been re-uploaded here on this channel! They'll be going live shortly.
The aforementioned uploads on the other channel have been unlisted but not deleted, so they should still be up on any playlist that had already included those. The "Kero Blaster" soundtrack should be re-uploaded here soon too.
Give Mamorukun Curse! a listen! It's some of Yousuke Yasui's greatest works. A soundtrack full of wonderful FM Synthpop!

You can listen to it here once it's live:

Thank you for tuning in to the Jam Output Entity!

Just a few days ago, this 3+ year old video I threw together to learn the basics of some video editing software I hadn't used before got swept into the unpredictable YouTube algorithm. Completely out of nowhere, it went from virtually no views to over 1.5 million in the span of about 4 days. The video was made when this was still my tiny personal channel to mindlessly dump videos onto, and was only ever intended to be seen by a small group of friends.

If you're reading this, then chances are you've seen it, but I'll summarize it for the sake of this being a comprehensive overview of the situation. The video shows artwork a reddit user posted of a character from a game. When asked by another user if it was traced over the official in-game artwork, this person claimed that is was only "referenced, not traced". However, it's blatantly obvious that the image was filtered and/or traced directly from said source. The video attempts to comically address the absurdity of the "referenced" claim by showing the exact image they pulled via google images, and comparing them directly in an image editor.

What I didn't really think about until it was just pointed out to me was the possibility for targeted harassment to happen all these years later - As it turns out, the user has been getting harassed practically nonstop online for the past few days on their social media accounts, ever since this video hit the algorithm. While I do think art forgery should be respectfully pointed out when encountered, harassment of any kind is absolutely unacceptable. This person has long since moved on and has been working on building their portfolio of completely original art, which is very respectable and should be wholeheartedly encouraged.

Despite this, many people on the internet have gone out of their way to point out that they used to forge artwork. While there is a tiny handful of constructive comments, an overwhelming amount of the responses range from mean-spirited sarcasm, to full on death threats. Given my complete inaction up until now, I cannot help but feel responsible for this. The video gaining rapid attention was obviously out of my control - However, leaving the video up when it did gain attention WAS in my control, and doing nothing lead people to harass the artist. While I didn't know the artist was being harassed until minutes before removing the video and beginning to write this post, I honestly should have seen this coming from a mile away given the nature of the internet - I am very familiar with just how cruel the beast can be.

I cannot in good faith leave the video up knowing full well that someone is getting harassed. No one deserves to be harassed, full stop. Personal growth should be encouraged, and I'm disgusted to see so many people bully this person without a second thought, literal YEARS after the fact. A lot can happen in 3 years, but I'm willing to bet most of the harassers are too young to know that just yet. If you are one of the people who participated in the harassment and somehow made it this far, I strongly encourage you to do a lot of self reflection, and apologize to the artist. You were born with a sense of empathy, please use it. It takes guts to own up to something you did wrong and move forward from it, and our world would be a much better place if that were recognized by everyone. You do not know what was going through someone's head when they did something. Our brains are scarily fragile and malleable, which is both its greatest weakness and greatest strength. Please recognize that while everyone is flawed, personal growth is very attainable and should be commended. Rubbing someone's past mistakes in their face years after the fact does absolutely nothing for ANYONE when they've already grown from it.

To the artist - I'm very sorry for this. I don't know if I have the guts to contact you directly just yet, and I'm sorry for that too. I'm still processing this given how sudden it all is, but if you want to contact me, please feel free. I'd be glad to talk. I apologize for the unnecessary stress I've brought upon you, and I hope you can forgive me for being so careless. I hope you continue to make art and keep getting better. I quite like what you've been posting recently, especially the one with the birds.

Well, I guess that's it, can't think of much else to say that would actually add anything to this. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, I genuinely really appreciate that. Be good and honest to each other.

Hey everyone! Today we'll be uploading the soundtrack to what's a little bit of an obscure gem! Ripple Dot Zero!
For those unaware, this was an excellent 16-bit styled action platformer made in Flash and released in 2013, inspired by platformers on the SEGA Genesis.

We've noticed that there aren't any full uploads of the soundtrack on YouTube and we're here to fix that.
This very groovy and funky FM synth soundtrack composed by the legendary Simon Stålenhag will go live shortly.
Please give it a listen, it's excellent stuff and will NOT disappoint you!
