Happy Wednesday evening everyone! We hope that you all are doing well and enjoying your week so far! We have 2 new videos coming out this week!! The first one is tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, February 13th, and I am in the kitchen making a Valentine's Day sweet treat - "healthy" version of the no bake chocolate cookie! Marty went back for thirds and fourths - lol! We are out of town, and I have been trying to work on Friday's video, and I am having computer issues that I can't fix until we return home which will cause me to not be able to get a video up on Friday evening. Our newest video went live this morning so be sure to check it out! We are processing deer that Marty and one of the grandsons killed. We are grinding most of it up into deer burger and the rest will be cut up for tenderloin. All will be packaged and frozen until its use. This is our "real life" in the country - in rural Alabama. We hope that you enjoy watching us as we prepare this meat that Marty has provided for us. We are very thankful for this meat and thankful for Marty's ability to provide and process it for us! Welcome to our channel! Hi! I am Mona and I am married to Marty. My husband and I live in Alabama, and both worked in the education field, but are now retired. We have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. On our channel you will see a lot of family time spent together whether it is just my husband and myself or with the whole crew. We will be tackling chores, taking vacations (mostly in our camper), some day trips, lifestyle vlogs of a typical day/week of a retired empty nest couple and everyday life adventures. We love hiking, biking, basically all things outdoors and living a healthy life!
