Not much luck on our fall deer hunt but that’s okay. We enjoy being out on the ocean, walking through the bush too. It’s kind of relaxing! Hopefully we can release a short video soon. Not too much action to share but all is well with us #northernbc #hotsprings #ocean #nordhavn #kitimat

Before Skookum (Nordhavn40), we had our 20 foot Aluminum Thunderjet, which we fished with and did trips in! We would sleep on the two bench seat cushions! Would barely fit lol. Bathroom in a bucket over the edge of the boat. Then we upgraded to the 27 foot Rangertug, cruised to Alaska and down to Vancouver Island. Such a great boat! Ranger joined us on that boat! Now we have Skookum! Our pilot house is the size of our Rangertug haha. Lots of memories on those boats. They got us where we are today ⚓️⚓️. #rangertug #nordhavn40 #thunderjet

When a fishing hook goes through the finger and out the other end! 😱😱. So glad the hook was barbless and Derek slowly twisted it out! It’s unreal how adrenalan works and actually just naturally numbs the area, until later… ouch! #fishinghookaccident #ouch #barbless

Amazing Ocean adventures on our Nordhavn40 yacht, in Kitimat, Northern British Columbia. Subscribe to see sealife encounters and mini adventures on our boat, we really enjoy going to different hotsprings in the area and exploring. Fishing is also fun and we enjoy crabbing, prawning, halibut and salmon . Our dog Ranger is an excellent boat dog too.. he loves the water, seals, whales! and YES he has fallen off the back of the boat a few times! We plan to oneday live aboard Skookum and cruise up to Alaska and south to Oregon/Washington. Maybe Mexico oneday! #boatlife
