In the European context, we see malign influence as directly or indirectly subverting and undermining European values and democratic institutions.
By identifying and exposing subversive attempts aimed at undermining the European values and institutions, our Centre combats the spread of illiberalism and works to foster democratic debate, encourage active involvement of citizens in political and social life, and consolidate free, secure, fair and prosperous European societies.
