I have lived my entire life with the mind set of don't buy what you can build yourself ... and I have built quite a few things ... everything from a 16 foot bass boat to a fully self contained teardrop camper ... not too mention all of the little things along the way. When you build something yourself, not only does it save you money, you also build it better, it will last longer, you enjoy it more and if anything ever breaks you will know exactly how to fix it (saving you even more).
