Logansport, a small city in Cass County, is another place that will soon see a mixed-use retail and residential project taking over its once-beloved mall. A traditional mall that had been hanging on by a thread.
The Logansport Mall had primarily sat vacant for the last decade until Park Development bought the site under its subsidiary, 3900 East Market Street LLC.
The project, which Park Development is renaming "The Junction," is still in the construction process but soon will breathe new life into an area once a hub for all of its residents and nearby rural towns.

A Little Free Library on the north side of Indianapolis was vandalized three times in the last week.
The library's dome was destroyed, its door torn off, a can of soup thrown in, and dozens of books were ruined.
The owner is left wondering what these vandals are getting out of these attacks.
"That was almost a bridge too far. It was just like, oh my gosh, I'm trying to do this just as something nice to do."

Through Earn-a-Bike, young people ages 10 to 18 will work on a bicycle that needs some repairs and attention.
They spend four weeks learning the parts of a bike, fixing flat tires, and taking on other common bike repairs. At the end, theyāll make friends, learn problem-solving skills and earn a green apron.
And they keep the bike.

Hoosier, Sajjad Shah, and his wife Fatimah, have created a vigorous virtual community through their platform "Muslims of the World," also known as MOTW.
It all started seven years ago with an Instagram and a simple mission to share the stories of Muslim people with non-Muslim people.
Pretty soon starting the #MOTW page, the Shah's also started to change the lives of people across the world.
Now, MOTW has published a book, started a world-traveling nonprofit organization, and, most recently, opened a coffee shop on the west side of Indianapolis.
