It's been an amazing few years of creating TTRPG content, however all good things come to an end eventually.
We have made the decision to close the book on The Cantrip Cast. We've been able to do amazing things because of all the support we've received over the years and it's thanks to all of you that it was possible.
It's been no secret that I've been pretty absent for awhile as I've been taking care of my family at home, but it also gave me time to reflect on my feelings and everything we've accomplished. I want everyone to remember us for the things we were able to do, rather than slowly fade away as our stress continued to grow.
I want to thank you all again for everything. It has meant the world to us. But just because The Cantrip Cast book is closing, doesn't mean that we're completely gone. Stake will be doing his streams still on his twitch, while also posting clips onto his YouTube.
I will be active in another way. While I do have a gaming channel I sporadically post on, I've been writing a story for awhile. What form that story will take place I am unsure, but it won't be a TTRPG show. Something... well a little different. You can follow my new solo project, and side gaming channel below:

The YouTube and our other socials will remain up for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're new and wanting a campaign to watch, or want to get a laugh out of our skits, the channel will remain. We are very proud of everything we have accomplished, and I for one cannot wait to show my future children what can happen if you follow something you're passionate about.

Well, I tried streaming everyone lol. I think one of my sticks of ram is on the fritz so I need to get that figured out. When it rains it pours, but we'll be good. Life's just been really challenging my family recently. One day at a time <3

Update everyone.
The house is finally put back together. Finally getting the rooms and the office organized again. Should have everything setup in the next few days. Trying to get at least my PC setup to do some sort of stream/one shot tomorrow.

Hey ya'll sorry again but no stream tonight. House is still under some work, but should hopefully be done by Friday. If we can get some things organized I may do a stream from my phone just to hang out.

It's been a very emotional few weeks here at home. Thank you everyone who reached out and for all the kind words you have given myself and my family.

Hey everyone, as you know content has been a little sporadic the last year.
About two years ago my father-in-law was diagnosed with ALS. My wife and brother-in-law were both very hurt with this news, especially seeing how they also lost their mom just a few years prior.
About a year into his diagnosis, my wife and I ended up selling our house and moved in with him and my brother-in-law to assist in his care, and to try to make him as comfortable as possible.
It has been a very long year or two, to say the least.
Unfortunately, my father-in-law passed away this weekend due to his illness. We received news that Saturday morning he had a seizure and passed later that night.
While it was very upsetting, we were at least grateful that he passed quickly in the end rather than continuing to be in pain and struggling as his illness progressed further.
I will always be a husband first and a content creator second. So during this time, I will continue to do that and be with my wife and brother-in-law during this time of grieving.
My father-in-law was just like a dad to me. While my wife, my brother-in-law and myself are naturally hurt and emotional right now, we are happy knowing that his suffering is over and he is now with his wife.
