It's interesting how "Take What You Want" at Ambitions Japan Dome Tour is starting to replace "We are" as the gateway song for YouTube reactors to ONE OK ROCK. However I'm seeing an increasing number of comments under such videos about how the moment of silence is a tribute to Chester.

Please. It is NOT. Taka has never said this before. And think about it. Listen to the lyrics of the song. It's about letting go of a toxic relationship. Does it make sense that they would make a dedication to Chester during a song like that? Absolutely not!

The only thing I'm aware of regarding this moment of silence is that Taka has said on numerous occasions that he can only do this in Japan because when he tries to do it overseas, there are always fans interrupting the silence by yelling out and stuff. If fans knew it was a tribute to Chester, they would likely be more respectful and stay silent.

That said, it makes no sense that the moment of silence during this song is a tribute to Chester. If there's a video or audio somewhere of Taka saying that it is, I would be interested in seeing/hearing it. However as far as I know, Taka has never said anything like this.

Please help stop the spread of this misinformation by letting people who say it in the comments know that it is untrue.

Edit: I'm told they did the moment of silence on tour even before Chester's passing, so definitely it is not a tribute to Chester.

Now that the band is under new management, I'm re-uploading my two videos from the Eye of the Storm tour which were previously blocked by Amuse. Be warned that my singing was very bad back then too. 😅 Anyway, here is the video from Denver, which was my first time seeing the band outside of Japan. I got a well-timed business trip which allowed me to make a quick stop in Denver for the concert. Vancouver video will be uploaded very soon.

I'm still a little sore so the tour has not yet ended for me!🤘 Here's a clip of the highlight of my tour-- when Taka came down from the stage and stood up on the barricade right in front of me! It was so awesome. The moment it was clear that he was coming our way, a million hands came from behind😂 My hearing was kind of muffled because of all the people crowded around me. I didn't really want the responsibility of keeping him balanced (I am very smol) so I didn't try so hard for his hand, but I got to get a quick grab of it as he extended his arm while making his way back to the stage. What a moment! I love this band more and more each time I see them. I hope they come back soon.

I've translated an old interview with Taka from when The Beginning was released. I think it would be more interesting to read now than when it was originally published 7 years ago because you can see how much the band has accomplished while looking back at their thoughts and goals at the time.

Hi everyone. So the ONE OK ROCK Ventura show was supposed to premiere today but it's not working because for some reason YouTube didn't start processing the video at all after I uploaded it two days ago. The video will not be viewable until after it finishes processing. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.
