The Catholic Peace Broadcasting Corporation (CPBC) is thrilled to announce the 23rd Annual CPBC Catholic Songwriting Contest, a celebrated event designed to uplift and strengthen the Catholic faith through the power of music. As we head towards World Youth Day Seoul 2027, this year’s contest invites participants from around the globe to contribute original Catholic songs that blend heartfelt worship with contemporary musical trends.
Participation Details
Eligibility: Open to all Catholics, including both industry professionals and amateurs.
Categories: Lyrics and Composition (all music genres are welcome).
Submission Period: August 15 to September 15, 2024.
Submission Method: Email submissions to cpbcmusic@cpbc.co.kr. Please download the application and consent form for the collection and use of personal information from our website.

Awards and Prizes
1st Place: 10,000,000 WON
2nd Place: 5,000,000 WON
3rd Place: 2,000,000 WON
Additionally, five outstanding songs will be professionally recorded by renowned singers or choirs and released as official audio tracks. Please note that taxes on the prizes will be the recipients' responsibility, with South Korean taxes deducted from the prize amount.
