What does âroâ mean?
âRoâ is a (homonyms) Swedish word that doesnât have an exact English translation, but according to google translate, it means "tranquility, peace, rest, quietness".
It also means ârowâ as in ârow your boatâ, hence the rowboat as our main design.
Why âroâ?When I think about what I want in my life (perhaps even in the world) I think of ro. Ro in my relationships; ro in each meal that I consume; ro in my own mind; ro in my home.
That doesnât mean I want to be in a constant state of stillness, but rather, that I would like ro to be my defaultstate; one that I can return to after any high or any low. Therefore
By naming this brand "ro", I hope to bring myself to that state each time I wear a piece, and I hope you'll get to experience that too.Â
Creating a brand that feels like an extension of myself has always been a dream of mine. This is only the beginning of that.
