A bit of Wales on a Tuesday 2:
Performance and Cocktails is the second studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. It was released by V2 on 8 March 1999. The name of the album comes from lyrics in the album’s first song, «Roll Up and Shine», just like the previous album’s name, Word Gets Around came from lyrics in that album’s final song.
The album was massive success in the UK and to a degree elsehwere, selling 2.5 million copies, only out performed by their next album, Just Enough Education To Perform, which sold 3.5 million.
This is also a 2010 deluxe edition, but I still have my original CD from 1999. 🏴

Word Gets Around is the debut studio album by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. Released on the 25th of August 1997 through V2 Records and reaching number six in the UK Albums Chart, making this one of three Stereophonics albums not to reach number one. 🏴
This is my deluxe from 2010 but I still have my CD from 1997, bought at a Copenhagen CD shop when I was living there.

Grabbed a DVD I haven’t played in over a decade. Neil Finn Sessions at West 54th. This is from the year his solo debut with Try Whistling came out in 1998. DVD released in 2000 and features the wonderful Mark Hart (formerly of Crowded House and Supertramp) on piano and backing vocal for the Crowded House songs. Even better, this is recorded in surround.
