My grandma passed away a week ago, almost four years after her daughter―my mom.
She was mentally sharp and mostly independent at 86 years old. We didn’t expect to lose her anytime soon, even after recent health concerns. That’s how strong she was.
For decades, four generations our family would gather frequently at my grandma’s home, especially on holidays. She was a fan of sci-fi, horror, and horse races with a no-nonsense attitude and eclectic sense of humor. A proud New Yorker, she worked at the World Trade Center, retiring years before the towers fell.
When my mom passed suddenly in 2020, my grandmother was the first to tell me. It was a bittersweet comfort to have her after that shock ― and an inspiration to see her continue thriving.
We have lost a matriarch, but we are celebrating her life with gratitude. Her memorial will be later this month, when our family will gather from now greater distances once again. She and my great-grandparents always brought us together.
I’ve been fighting a cold since hearing this news, but am getting better. My grandma always encouraged me to be strong and creative, so I have no excuse!
Thank you all for your support through several major losses over the past few years. At the age of 40, I have learned that maturity is the strength to be joyous and vital through even the toughest times. It doesn’t get easier, but we do get stronger.

Burned off some of those Thanksgiving "calories" with an intense half-hour workout in the park!
Bodyweight dips, leg raises, isometric holds, and inverted rows on the parallel bars and several hard sprints around the running track.
Dinner last night was mostly meat, but included treats like whiskey, stuffing, and even apple pie.
I usually recover from these rare “cheat days” within a few days of purely animal-based nutrition and exercise.
But too many non-carnivore foods would slowly worsen my overall health, even if I maintained a healthy weight.
So yes, I'm still 100% carnivore 99% of the time. Even during the holidays!

Thankful to be healthy again after weeks of severe congestion, coughing, and fatigue. 🤧
Still not sure of the cause, but it happened after a long day with no sleep, lots of activity, and a couple of “cheat foods.” Recent personal difficulties didn’t help.
Feeling 95% better now thanks to a consistent diet of fatty meals with ground beef, eggs, fish, bacon, butter, and other animal-based foods.
No fruit, vegetables, bread, or other carbs—as usual.
Back to exercising every day, but not at the gym. Bodyweight workouts have become my favorite, along with various forms of sprinting.
These require minimal equipment, activate the whole body, and have been increasing my strength faster than weights alone. I may return to the gym eventually, but bodyweight has changed my goals and simplified my needs.
Diet and exercise truly are the keys to bodily health. However, not necessarily what we’ve been taught.
A high-fat animal-based diet, more resistance training, and less cardio have made me healthier and stronger than the usual advice.
So when you’re at the dinner table this evening, enjoy that turkey and steak and ham. It’s the healthiest food in front of you!

Our freedom family is in mourning after the sudden passing of Pauline Braccio.
For years, she and her daughter Olivia have been supporting medical freedom and other causes at home in Pennsylvania and in NYC. They've driven many miles to attend our rallies and protests. Olivia has been artfully capturing these events in her photography.
Pauline and I often spent the majority of these gatherings in delightful and profound conversation. She shared stories about her life and activism and listened with generous empathy. Her vibrant personality and unbridled humor were matched by her relentless passion for justice.
Pauline adopted our community as only a truly loving Mom can. Her maternal presence was a comfort after I lost my Mom, and they had so much in common. We will always cherish Pauline’s memory and the values she embodied.
This picture shows Pauline’s shadow next to mine under the archway in Washington Square Park at a medical freedom rally one year ago. I unintentionally recorded this moment as we continued one of our wonderful chats.
We love you, Pauline.

Carnivore before and after exercise! 🥩🏋🏾♂️
The first picture is from about two years ago, two years into my carnivore diet and lifestyle.
I had lost 70 pounds and multiple chronic health conditions. WITHOUT exercise, except for walking around Manhattan.
I just ate lots of fatty red meat and other animal products, which is still how I eat.
Today, two months into regular resistance training, I look and feel even healthier.
The New World Order wants us weak and dependent. Humanity's best defenses against totalitarianism are strength and good health!
