Ituana is responsible for those renditions you know you have heard but you're not sure where. This sultry group has lent their talent to bossa nova covers since the origin of the genre a few years back with Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition) and like all good things, it keeps getting better with time. Their debut track, a bossa take on the Rolling Stones' You Can't Always Get What You Want was received to wide acclaim upon release and recently won an Emmy for Best Music Supervision for its use in the closing scene of Big Little Lies' season finale. Though they have many tracks including David Bowie's Life on Mars?, Queen's Kind of Magic, and The Doors' Light My Fire," among others, when asked for their favorite they say it's hard to choose between Bob Marley's Waiting in Vain and The Rolling Stones As Tears Go By - Luxury Strings Mix. When Ituana invites guest performers into the studio, chances are that it's their percussionist pal, the Fortaleza-native Sao Vicente.
