Welp, it’s always something with old equipment. My dump truck ran great all day Saturday. I hauled at least 10 loads around my property. Then, it wouldn’t go into gear on Sunday. The clutch pedal was acting weird. It was really hard or spongy and on the floor. I was pushing on the pedal when I felt this hose blow out. It’s the hydraulic hose that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. I didn’t replace it when I replaced the master and slave cylinder a while back. 🤷🏼♂️ I guess I should have. Maybe this hose was swelling when I pushed the pedal instead of forcing the fluid down to the slave cylinder. It finally got weak enough and blew out. Can anyone help me identify this hydraulic pump that I pulled off my 1988 Chevy R30 dump truck. The ID plate is missing. It’s PTO driven. It leaks. I want to get a seal kit for it if I can.
