🎉 Get ready for Next Fest October 2024! 🎮 From October 14th through the 21st, it’s all about demos, playtests, and prologues – no other games, just an entire week dedicated to checking out what’s coming next. 🚀
You might even catch a few demos rolling out a bit earlier, thanks to the awesome devs sending out invites ahead of time (seriously, you guys rock! 🙌).
I don’t have a full list of games I plan on playing yet, but I’ll have more details for you by the 14th! I’m super excited to dive into all the new content, and I hope you'll join me for a full week of Next Fest fun! Let’s explore these games together.

After some debate, I decided to share a release schedule of already scheduled videos. The Google calendar will also include game release dates that I'm either looking at (orange) or I am planning on playing (yellow)

I'll do my best to keep it updated, but I’m not making any promises—because, well, it's me, and my plate is always full. Most videos will be available to members right away as a perk, unless there’s an embargo in place.
Ohh, and I do have a second YouTube channel, called Mnealia's AI Musings - youtube.com/@MnealiasAIMusings. This is just simple videos set to ambient music - absolutely nothing to do with gaming. But you will see those videos scheduled (in blue). Both in shorts and long format.

Next Fest Winter 2024 is officially LIVE!
Keeping up with my little tradition here is just a small list of demos that I will be trying. There will be multiple videos uploaded throughout the week, and regular content will be coming as well, though at a slower pace until Next Fest is done.
If you are new to Next Fest, it is a weeklong celebration through steam, where we try out demos and learn about upcoming games.
How I personally approach Next Fest is I will play as many demos that interest me. While recording, I will play through the demo as far as I am able. If the demo breaks, I will stop - and I will not replay the demo.
If the demo plays badly but the game itself is promising, I will most likely not share the demo - as I don't want to give the game a black eye before it even has a chance.
My exception to that rule is if the demo is so bad that it's hilarious and the game itself seems to have very little effort I will absolutely share those with you!

Between hosting Thanksgiving for a large family and a big project for work (that is now finished) I got out of whack with my editing schedule. I should be back on track later in the week, but for now videos will be posted a little later in the day.
