The Archaeoastronomy Database facilitates the gathering of crowd-sourced data relating to possible connections with the sky that may have been intended by ancient cultures in the material remains that have survived to this day.
To do this a database has been set up to receive data in the form of submitted sites, investigations, and observations. All of this information can be searched in the explorer tool to help build up information about the sites, check if investigation ideas are already in place and add to them as needed, and especially to find observations participants would like to attempt to make and contribute.
Possible alignment investigations, site information, and general astronomy/archaeoastronomy concepts are featured in videos on the channel and discussion is encouraged here, on social media, and the website.
