Dear Mom,
It's now been 30 years since you left the family. On October 5, 1995, we lost you. I still feel it isn't fair, and while life keeps moving forward, there are times I find myself stuck between moving forward and backward. It's hard realizing you're not here. But I know what you would say: you tell me to move forward, keep you in my heart. And never forget that I love you , and that's what I keep telling myself I have to do. I miss you, Mom. So today, on the anniversary of your death, I say to you: keep watching over me and the family. I'll see you when the time comes.
