No video this week! We are taking the week off from making a video to get ahead a week in our videos. We've been real time and it will be good to be a week or two ahead of y'all when baby boy arrives. He is due in two weeks, but could come any time. Matt is working hard on Duracell (exciting project!) and Janni is keeping up with filming, even with the big belly now. We're doing great!

Unfortunately we had some technical issues come up this week that have kept us from getting the video out today. Everything is okay and we are working hard to get it resolved so that we can continue next week. Thank you for understanding, we'll see you next week!

Sorry, folks, no work got done on Duracell this week because I was up to my ears in a client's boat project at the yard. Good news is that client's boat splashes TODAY and THIS AFTERNOON I'm getting back to Duracell. Here's a photo of the real star of the show...the true reason you all tune in every Wednesday. I'm Matt. I am refitting and restoring a legendary race boat, known as Duracell. Duracell was built and sailed by legendary American sailor, Mike Plant, who beat the American record for solo circumnavigation in the first Vendee Globe in 1989. I am lucky to own this piece of American racing history. With a storied past and a 25 year pause on the hard, Duracell's story now continues with us. Follow along as I refit Duracell into a fast and comfortable cruising home. My wife, Janneke and I create weekly episodes for this channel documenting every step of our project.
