The earrings I found while dumpster diving turned out to be the perfect accessory for the occasion! I absolutely love taking discarded items and transforming them into treasures. Plus, thrifting for fashion is a passion of mine too! This dress was a thrift store find, and I’m still in shock that I only paid $16 for it—it was stunning for the birthday party, and I felt so confident wearing it! You really don’t need to spend a fortune to look and feel great.
Remember, beauty and value can be found where others might overlook. Don’t be afraid to get creative, repurpose, and make something old new again. You never know what hidden gems you might discover!

Meet Our New Rescue Cat, Mac Mittens! 🐾
Hey, everyone! I’ve got a heartwarming story to share with you all. My husband and I never thought we’d have a cat—neither of us grew up around animals, so it was never on our radar.
That all changed one day when Mac Mittens followed our kids home after one of their bike rides! My husband, unbeknownst to me, saw him first and gave him some of his good BBQ. Mac was hooked! And from that moment on, my husband treated him like one of our own—cases of food, bottled water, all the essentials. I was shocked! Who knew this man would turn around and fall in love with a cat so quickly?
It took me a bit of time to warm up to Mac. Honestly, I had to pray for compassion because I wasn’t too keen on the idea at first. But now, I can see why everyone loves him. He’s become part of our family, and my kids are absolutely over the moon. They adore him, and I think he might love them even more.
I’m also excited to see what fun, useful finds I can discover for Mac Mittens on my dumpster diving treasure hunts! Who knows what treasures are out there waiting for him? Stay tuned for that! 🐈⬛💖

Happy 45th Birthday to my favorite person—ME! ❤️
Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAUTIFUL ANGEL—Happy Birthday to you!! I’m still in disbelief that I’m here! I’m FREAKING 45 years young!! Where did the time go? This year has been full of growth and transformation. I’ve been more intentional in my marriage, patient with my children, working on reading the Word of God consistently, and staying disciplined with my workouts.
When I started last year, I weighed 195 lbs, and now I’m down to 165 lbs—well beyond my ideal weight of 175. I DID THAT—PRAISE GOD!! I’ve been cutting out bad foods, eliminating chips, carbs, and sugary snacks from my diet, and it’s been going strong! Again, PRAISE GOD! I’ve been dedicating time every day for the Word of God and praying more consistently. I even incorporated yoga into my daily routine, and I absolutely love it!
Another thing I’ve committed to is reading—I’ve gotten into chapter books that are deeply engaging, and I’m reading at least 4 books a year! That’s a HUGE improvement from last year—PRAISE GOD!! I’ve accomplished so much this year, and I’m incredibly proud of myself.
Overall, I feel more confident and centered in who I am. I’ve been working on personal development, letting go of past fears and insecurities, and embracing a mindset of peace and gratitude. I’m learning to love myself fully and recognize my worth, not based on what others think, but on who God created me to be.
Birthday eve, I had the birthday blues, overwhelmed by turning 45. But this morning, I woke up ready to tackle the year ahead! The Lord has blessed me with too much. I’ve achieved so much, and I’m grateful to God for giving me another chance at this beautiful thing called life! I’m 45, and I’m PROUD OF IT!!
I’m going to celebrate myself today and be unapologetically happy! 🤪
