I'm Breven, trail name "MoonJuice". I went on my very first hike here in Arizona just a few years ago and quickly fell in love with the Arizona desert. Day hikes have turned into backpacking trips with my wife of almost 30 years, and backpacking trips have turned into long distance hiking - completing both the Arizona and Colorado Trails.
My channel features hikes that I enjoy, which consist of real adventures; long, difficult, and away from civilization! You wont find the 2 or 3 mile hikes here that require permits, or guides, or end at a crowded swimming hole. You won't find any of the tourist hikes that tend to get lots of views... I like to go where crowds cannot form! The purpose of these videos is to try and show what its like to backpack long distances (especially if you don't have much experience, like me), and how I find campsites, water etc. Maybe one of these adventures will inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and try something new?
