Family-Centered Homesteady Times in The Ozarks. Doing The Things, Man!
Our channel primarily focuses on the day-to-day going’s on of out little slice of heaven. We raise chickens & Nigerian Dwarf goats for eggs, meat & milk. We raise Flemish Giant Rabbits for their manure, which makes great fertilizer, meat for dog food, and their pelts. We also have Livestock Guardian Dogs: Great Pyrenese, Anatolian Shepherd, and Border Collie mixes.
Still prepping for SHTF? That ship sailed in the first part of 2020. We garden like our lives depend on it, because they do.
We’re also building systems of self sufficiency. In the works: Rainwater catchment. Hybrid compost heating system with a bio-digester / gasifier. Passive geothermal cooling system. Wood gasification.
When the broken system goes away, we hope to not only be prepared, but be teaching what we have learned to as many people who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
