The American Institute for Economic Research educates Americans on the value of personal freedom, free enterprise, property rights, limited government and sound money. AIER’s ongoing scientific research demonstrates the importance of these principles in advancing peace, prosperity and human progress.
The Institute, founded in 1933, was the first independent voice for sound economics in the United States. Today it publishes ongoing research, hosts educational programs, sponsors interns and scholars, and is home to the world-renowned Bastiat Society and the highly respected Sound Money Project. AIER represents no fund, concentration of wealth, or other special interests.
