I'm going to be completely honest here, but the Gorilla Tag community is something else.
Almost every week a large creator is exposed for saying a slur or doing something bad, which is gonna happen with any community, but with Gorilla Tag, that creator can come back into the community basically without any backlash.
For example:
Chase, said the F-slur and the N-word, got immediately forgiven.
PursuitVR, has said the hard-R 11 times in ONE recording (among other things), is still being forgiven for it.
Elliot, fakes most of his videos, hasn't even been called out for it.
Anyone can do something bad and immediately be forgiven for it by half the community, which is not good for the reputation of the game.
Not everyone deserves forgiveness, not everyone is nice on the inside, not everyone can change. They all should been more responsible as they all have thousands of followers.
Please do not immediately forgive these people or anyone else, make sure to see the deeper story to what they did, then make a logical decision.

The way YouTube works, is that I cannot change the content that I make without seeing decreased viewership for a long time. As I have matured, I have noticed that the content I make is getting a bit too MrBeast-like and too over-the-top. The emotion shown, the ideas, the editing. It's all too overstimulating. I have found myself embarrassed when showing my channel to friends and family and I want this to change. I feel like the Gorilla Tag content creation space is overrun with clones and copies of a group of like 4 original YouTubers, I want to be the fifth in that list.
As of today, I will be letting my current channel go. I will not be quitting content creation as a whole, I will just be quitting EmuTheMonke. I want to make content that appeals to an older audience, where I can be more genuine and make better-quality videos without the need of feeling low when I hear my YouTube voice. I have made another channel and am currently working on its first video. I'll let you know when that releases in this server. That announcement will be my last message on discord as EmuTheMonke.
I am infinitely grateful for my numbers on EmuTheMonke, what you all have done is insane. But I want a change, and I encourage others to do the same if you feel this way.
