On Thursday of this week we observe Latina Equal Pay Day. It’s a day that brings me mixed emotions.
That’s why I wanted to start the week off by sharing this quote from former US president Barack Obama.
It allows us to put a lens of empowerment and remember we can work together to create the world we want to see.

She was being "pushed" to follow one path, but inside was struggling because what she really wanted was completely different. Heck, it even sounded a little insane to those around her

As humans, we project our own fears and insecurities onto others, especially when they talk about doing things that are out of our own comfort zones
