This Durga Puja season, we at Bullsmart were the proud sponsors of Sarathi Socio Cultural Trust's Durgotsav 2023. Not only was it a privilege for us as a company to partake in the cultural festival integral to Bengali heritage but also be a part of the highlight event which was a musical tribute to the Indian maestro Krishnakumar Kunnath or lovingly called as KK.

KK's musical talents are celebrated for its versatility and ability to transcend and break through barriers. KK is known to have recorded songs in most of the major languages in India and the fluidity of his art has touched hearts of various generations in the present and yet to come. Through this legends life we can learn several lessons which are applicable in the world of Finance as well.
1) Believe in the power of you and don't be averse from taking calculated risks. KK was known to have entered the music industry without any musical knowledge or outside influence but it was his passion and vision which made him into India's legendary playback singer. Similarly for your financial journey, trust the process and your research while making decisions and stay positive of the outcome.
2) Diversify your assets and break shackles of traditional financial advice. Before starting out in Bollywood, KK had recorded more than 3,500 jingles and has recorded music in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and many more languages. In that sense, you as an investor need to diversify your financial assets between equity, debt, bonds, commodities, currency etc. in order to have truly varied and wholistic approach towards wealth management.
3) Live within your means. KK is famous of quoting that 'A singer should be heard and not seen'. Rather than appearing larger than life, he let his music speak volumes and change the course of the industry. Similarly, just because you may have a lot of money in the bank, it always makes sense to prioritize spending between essential, wants and frivolous spending.

At Bullsmart we aim to connect investors with their investment aspirations and provide resonant investment opportunities.

Let’s not forget to appreciate the music in our lives, while appreciating our financial success and staying strong.
