Staying in a resort that feels like you are in the jungle on Cat Ba Island! 🌴🌳🏖️
This hotel was covered in greenery and having a coconut tree on my balcony on the 15th floor was something new!
The hotel is made up of 3 buildings connected with walkways which make you feel like you are in the mountains
It also has two private beaches and multiple restaurants and food options!
I also LOVED the dressing gown in the room - I wanted to take it with me! 🌱

Living like a king on a 5⭐️ Cruise in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam! 🇻🇳
🛳️ I have been on a Cruise ship since I got Salmonella as a teenager, which put me off cruises for life!
But my friend Sacha told me this cruise was amazing, and she was not wrong!
We arrived at a 7-course lunch menu! which I eat all of 😮
And I fell in love with my room, the view of the mountains slowly gliding past as we sailed.
The Jacuzzi on the boat and watching the sunset were my highlights from day 1
The staff on the boat looked after me so well! A must-visit if you are in Vietnam.

The beauty of Sapa's rice fields blew me away! 🌾🏞️🇻🇳
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Vietnam.
I experienced my first homestay in the mountains of Sapa. I really enjoyed getting to know the family who run the Homestay and who shared the traditions of their minority group with us.
It was a hike that was worth the effort for the beautiful views!
The next day we even got to visit a waterfall.
I stayed in Sapa town for a few nights and what I did not expect was a very commercialised holiday destination, so to really experience the beauty here, you need to get out of the town!

I loved this place so much, I actually visited here about 4 times while in Hanoi.

So my China adventure comes to an end! A Journey of History, Adventure, and Unforgettable Moments 🇨🇳
After spending an incredible month traveling across China,
I’m leaving with a heart full of memories and a deep appreciation for this vast and beautiful country.
From the ancient wonders to modern marvels, every day was a new adventure!
Highlights of My Journey:
• 🏔️ Reaching the peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain - My heighest every peak at 4,680 meters
• 🌄 Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains: Seeing the iconic floating mountains up close was like stepping into another world.
• 🌁 Bungee Jumping from the Worlds longest bungee!
• 🧱 Walking the Great Wall: Climbing the steep steps and taking in the endless views was truly surreal
• 🏯 Exploring the Forbidden City: I was blown away by the sheer size and the intricate beauty of this imperial palace.
• 🚄 Riding the Shanghai Maglev: Experiencing the world’s fastest train was like being in the future—268 mp/h of pure speed!
• 🎤 Singing in Shanghai’s Parks: The warmth and joy from the locals made me feel so welcomed.
• 🦆 Tasting Peking Duck in Beijing: Crispy, flavorful, and unforgettable—this was foodie heaven!
China has surprised, challenged, and inspired me in so many ways.
It was completly not what I was expecting and so I would suggest for anyone who has not been, to visit for youself and make up your own mind.

🌳 Finding Joy in Shanghai’s Parks: A Day Filled with Music and Love 🎶
One of the highlights of my visit to China was spending time in the city’s beautiful parks.
Luxun Park was alive in every corner with groups of locals singing, dancing, and just enjoying the day. 🎤💃🕺
What touched me the most was how welcoming everyone was—they even sang songs for me!
I was overwhelmed with joy and love, feeling such a warm connection with people I had just met.
It was like being part of a big family gathering, and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. ❤️
A huge thanks to Maxwell and his family for showing me around and making me feel truly welcomed during my time in China
There’s something truly special about seeing people come together, sharing music and laughter.
This experience reminded me of the simple joys of life and how much beauty there is in connecting with others, no matter where you are in the world.
