Q: How does this work?
A: Tournament to determine which lost media deserves to be banned/ignored from this channel. The lost media with the most votes per group advances to the next round to face the winner on their bracket until only one remains.
Q: What awaits the winner?
A: The grand champion wins the BANNED title or the right to never be posted here ever.
Q: Does this mean you have [xx] already??
A: No. But most of my lost media are often recent. "Gutom" and "Karne" were mid-June discoveries. This is just to preemptively decide if they will be posted in case I do find them.
Q: What is the point of this tournament?
A: Frankly, I'm sick and tired of how archiving in general has been muddied by the pursuit for specifics. I feel like anything old and non-existent should be cherished the same as anything that has a Wiki entry. It's just annoying to see a perfectly good upload be hijacked by comments asking for some station ID or a supposed haunting flower shop ad.
I don't look for specifics. I stumble into them by accident because I look for anything and everything and value them equally.
