The location of the greenhouse / gardening videos is at 39.5 latitude and is in the Eastern piece of the Rocky Mountains at 5,600 feet in elevation. There are colder pockets in all high mountain valleys and we are located in a cold sink, where it gets up to 20 decrees colder on a clear night as it is at neighbors homes that are only 1 mile away. This is why very few fruit trees and berries are able to grow in our back yard and we have learned to very valuable techniques that have enabled us to grow incredible gardens (which is why we are sharing what we have learned over the years).
