Hey Friends... I Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far :) I have been seeing a LOT of Christmas Decorates already shown on YT and I will be sharing mine as well... But I'm going back to a slower time of when it would normally be done.
This year I'm bringing the Tradition of Christmas and all that entails back, because I think everything is waaaay to rushed. It's disturbing that on September 20th, the Halloween, Thanksgiving AND Christmas decorations are already out in all the stores. I'm all for decorating whenever your heart wants, (my home is holiday ready bc that makes me happy!) but I want to share it with you all in the old-fashioned timeframe I love and miss.
I have some amazing recipes, DIY's and of course my Holiday Home tour coming up later this month, as well as some clever and easy ways to amp up your holidays on a budget. (That you NEED to do!!)

Oh my gosh you guys.... this island has really turned into something pretty amazing, and I cannot wait to share it with you all to show you how you can take what you have and turn it into what you want with just a little money and a lot of creativity!
Because of decisions I need to make (and the time this project is taking) I have divided the island makeover into 2 parts. Part 1 is coming your way Saturday so be sure to tune in and watch this incredible transformation begin.
Once again, I have exceeded my own vision (and capabilities) and I'm so happy with the final outcome. I think you're all gonna be pretty impressed in the end as well. My dream kitchen is coming to life one step at a time!!

Sorry guys, there will be no video tomorrow.
I've been battling pneumonia and I'm losing. I came so close to having the video done but I cannot complete it. I've been in bed for days resting and waiting for this to pass.
Here is a before of the console set I'm making over... Make sure you have that notification bell turned on so you won't miss the transformation next week. it came out stunning!

Hey guys... Happy Sunday!
Scott and I are off to Connecticut for a few days for the wedding of two beautiful souls, but before I go, I'm leaving you with today's video starting at 9AM EST.
This is a tutorial on creating the look of faux leather. This technique is definitely one you'll want to add to your knowledge repertoire as it can be done on walls, ceilings, tables, floors, counters (with an epoxy of course) choochkies, bobbles... the possibilities are endless. and the look is scrumptious!
