Today we are thrilled to release Rome—the career-spanning, definitive live document of The National. The 21-track, 2xLP set was recorded live (without overdubs) at the Italian City's historic Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone and mixed by our friend and longtime collaborator, Peter Katis.
With Rome, we set out to capture the more evolved, dynamic renditions of songs that we've been performing on tour these last few years. It was a special evening in The Eternal City and we're so excited to finally share it with you. Godere! 🇮🇹
Rome is available now on digital, 2xLP black vinyl, 2xLP white vinyl and 2xCD sets.

Rome, the definitive live document of The National, will be released worldwide December 13th on 4AD.
The 21-track, 2xLP set was recorded live (without overdubs) on June 3, 2024 at the Italian city's historic Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone and mixed by our friend and longtime collaborator, Peter Katis.
Accompanying today's announcement, we've released a four-song EP titled NTL RM EP I previewing Rome highlights "I Need My Girl", "Lemonworld", "The Geese of Beverly Road" and "Lit Up".
Rome is available for pre-order on digital, CD and 2xLP vinyl. Cherry Tree members will have a limited time opportunity to purchase an exclusive 3xLP set featuring five additional songs to complete the full 26-song setlist pressed on tri-colored vinyl paying homage to the Italian flag.
