These Easy Sri Lankan food recipes use all natural ingredients. It is safe to eat and is healthy, with natural spices, herbs and condiments. With many artificial ingredients in our food, I have gone back to basics, cooking food that is safe to eat.
Every Sri Lankan family has their way of cooking. In these videos, I have used recipes and methods I have learned from my family. At other times, I have shared my own discoveries, tips and tricks. Methods or ingredients may differ and there is no right way or wrong way to cook a curry.
Some ingredients may not be available to me and I have used substitutions when needed.
Being Sri Lankan, we are open to trying out any food from any part of the world and I have included some of my favorite recipes from other cuisines.
