This took quite a while, but I now have a 1000%-scale Dummy 13, designed by Soozafone on
Printables.

Printed in orange on the Elegoo OrangeStorm Giga.

Assembled earlier today, and already trying to make new friends!

Y’know, apart from the sheer weight and unwieldiness of the parts, it’s going together quite easily.

Hello 3D Printing Friends! This was difficult but TOTALLY worth it. Managed to get a "shoulder selfie" with the new Elegoo Orange Storm Giga! It comes in two boxes, and when it's assembled it's like a 4-foot cube. This thing is flat-out huge!

Body in Proto Pasta Derek's Olive Drab, interior in PrintedSolid Beige 500, tires in Overture black TPU. Squishy!

The first Eiffel Tower is complete. The AMS lite is now mounted atop the A1, and the second tower has begun. It should be finished in about 11 hours, I think.

Quick update on the Eiffel Tower that's being printed on the Bambu Lab A1, with the AMS lite sitting to the side.
It's got about two hours left and HOLY CATS this thing is almost 100% built out of retractions. Here's a picture.

In my Bambu Lab A1 video, I showed that Bambu Lab had a printable mount to allow placing the AMS lite on top of the printer, to reduce the amount of space the printer takes up on a desk or table. And I noted that, while having the AMS lite on top of the printer made it wobbly, it didn't seem to affect print quality. But, I wanted to let you pick a model for me to print, once with the AMS lite next to the printer, and once with it on top.

So, what is the most-requested model? It seems it's that famous tower in France. It's very intricate. I'd even go so far as to say that tower is quite an eyeful.

Some comments mentioned that Bambu Lab now has printable Z braces, so I went looking on MakerWorld. It turns out that Bambu Lab has revised the AMS lite top mount. Some parts are a little bit different, and, sure enough, there are now Z braces included. So I am completely reprinting the top mount with the currently-available files. I've been running the prints on an X1C, because I was using the A1 to print some more articulated axolotl models for my daughter last night. The Z braces finished this morning, so I mounted them on the A1. Meanwhile, the rest of the top mount is currently finishing up.

While waiting for the rest of the top mount, I started printing that Eiffel Tower model. The one I found was 250mm tall. Close enough to using the full build height.

The attached photo shows the "AMS lite beside the printer" test, currently in progress. It still has a little over 8 hours to go.

Once that's done, the rest of the new top mount will be finished, so I can get the AMS lite mounted up top, and then I'll reprint the model, and THEN, we can take a look at the photos, side by side to see if print quality is reduced by having the AMS lite on top.
