Hey guys.. Over the next 4 weeks I will be uploading songs that are technically unfinished. Why am I doing that? Well, simple reason is, I wanted to share with you guys more music and the songs that I am sharing are songs that you guys will have never heard before. The first song to start this off is called 'Disperare.'
The music for 'Disperare' was written by my good friend Dyl Price. For those of you who don't know Dyl, he is the person that I worked with to make my albums 'Re-Animate' 'Electrogenesis' and 'The Path Of Destruction.'
Back a few years ago when both myself and Dyl were looking to write music for 'A Carnival Of Freaks' I was given 5 tracks to see if I could add my vocals to them with the potential to use them for the Carnival Of Freaks EP. I only added my vocals to 3 of the tracks that Dyl gave to me, mainly because the other 2 tracks were very difficult for me to sing over. What I mean by that is, the structure of those songs made it hard for me to nail down a satisfactory vocal line. The last 2 songs were not verse, chorus, verse, middle 8, chorus, end.. I think that when Dyl put those pieces of music together, I don't think they were meant to have vocals attached to them.
Anyway, back to 'Disperare' - I feel that this unfinished song had the potential to be quite a good song, I'm sure that if it got worked on properly we could have fitted in a guitar solo that Tom could have played etc etc.. When you consider the type of music that got made for the Carnival Of Freaks EP, I guess 'Disperare' didn't fit the style? This raw and unpolished track is about as complete as it can be.
