How do you know when to bluff? Why do we even bluff if theyโ€™re just gonna call and own our soul?

Suffered my biggest ever loss yesterday but felt mentally strong! Did not feel much tilt in spite of the beating I took. Losing is not a source of tilt for me specifically. I find that most of my tilt manifests when I make decisions based on my calculations even when they conflict with my read. A perfect example being when I made what appeared to be an easy river call yesterday when villain led into me for $40 into $180 on a Qs9h6s 4c As run out and I had AhQh. I just knew that Villain had a flush, but I couldn't justify folding AQ because of how strong and high up in my range it is when I only need to be good 15% of the time. So I called and sure enough villain had a flush :). What tilts you the most?
