You guys should read 2 Chronicles 20:12, it really gives a great illustration of being still and allowing GOD to fight the battle for you!
”O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”“
2 Chronicles 20:12 ESV
There will always be an opportunity for the enemy to blind us, but our faith and trust in GOD must be stronger than our fear, insecurity, and doubt. Jehoshaphat was not fearless against his enemies, but his response to his fear was to look to GOD.
This showcases that we always have the choice to believe that GOD in all his glory can and will trump every emotion and thought we have when we submit them to him.

”And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.“
2 Corinthians 1:21-22 ESV
- It is GOD who establishes us and anoints us for specific peoples, places, and positions. It is also confirmed through his Holy Spirit we are assured of where we are. The importance of being anointed by his to be in a certain place or position is detrimental to our walk
- We have to be watchful/mindful of the influence the world and our flesh (impulses). What we allow ourselves to focus on must be aligned with his will and not just what we THINK he’d want.
