Dual hose portable AC unit at Costco $270. Dual hose is a feature you don't normally see on value-priced units. Single hose units pull air in from the room to cool and then put that back into the room however, they also pull air in from the room to cool the condensor and then vent that hot air out through a hose. That creates a negative pressure in the home, which then draws in hot air from outside. A dual-hose unit pulls air in from outside to cool the compressor and then spits it back outside. As such it does not create a negative pressure effect, and that helps with the efficiency of the unit.

Please take a moment for the families of the 4 people who lost their lives in Anaconda last night. While guns are common in Montana, shootings like this are not. This is a small town, just a hair bigger than our town of Livingston. I can't imagine the impact it must be having on them. Anyway, I pray for the families, and I hope they find the SOB and deal with him quickly and appropriately.
