When it comes to many people who haven't truly reached the Sovereign state of authenticity and maturity, these types of people usually are what I call "Professional excuse makers". Regardless of what you say to them, even if it be extremely positive and helpful, they will automatically come up with some form of excuse if they don't truly want to do or have something, aren't confident enough, or anything else. They rarely just focus on the task to succeed.
