Where does PvE Tarkov fit into your preferences?
I think this is another aspect I've vastly miss judged in the community. I would love to see where you guys fall.
I'm limited by 5 questions so I tried to get to the heart of it as best I could. I know there is a ton of leeway with these answers, so just do what first jumps into your mind and don't over think it.
Servers will be going down at 3:00 AM EST Tonight (8 am London, 5 pm Sydney) for 6 hours.
I have no good guesses as to what is in this patch, but they will be down for 6 hours which is a long time for mid wipe updates.
We'll do patch notes tomorrow once it's live and we can test out some of the changes.
Just got invited to play Gray Zone Warfare next week! We'll be streaming it of course, and finally get my hands on it to do some real content. Plan is to get access on April 18th, and we'll get a week to play this very early version.

We are 3 months into wipe, which is usually about the half way point. What level is everyone sitting at? I know a bunch of folks have quit playing, or only come back for events like today, but it's still cool to see where folks get before they take off, as well as folks who are still grinding and where they are.

Of all of the polls done over a wipe, this time period is my favorite. It blows apart the most assumptions people have, and there is still enough people playing that we get pretty good data on the player base.

What Removable Plate Type do you use the most with Patch 14.0?
I want to do some testing on ammo that will help folks pick between different types of rounds, but the armor material effects this A LOT.
IF I can see what armors most people use I can focus the testing there and get faster answers!

Lets see where everyone is at after 1 week of the Wipe with Patch 0.14.

If you are being shot at, do everything in your power to not turn your side or back...
No surprise to folks the red area is exposed thorax, but the yellow is the rough area of the armpit hitbox.
Some weird things can happen with these hitboxes though depending on the angle of the shot. The armpit hitbox is small when facing square to it, but as the angle increases, it almost seems to grow and wrap around the front and back of the PMC.
I believe this 'weirdness' is what's causing so many deaths to [Chest, Left armpit] to targets you are facing.
You are probably getting hit in the exposed chest, which would still be a death, but for some reason it's reading out "Armpit" on the death screen.
Regardless, neither of these hitbox's are crazily exposed when facing someone. It's a sliver on MOST armors, and it seems unlikely to me that these deaths are simply a product of the system as designed.
If there were more cases of blacked arms and hits on arms it would make more sense, but there are too many 1 tap deaths or 2 tap deaths with no damage being reported anywhere else.
I'll keep grinding away on testing trying to get some consistent results so we can show people what to stop doing, or find a bug for BSG to fix.
