Most people have no idea how do we make it that far with ā€Ŗ@myadorelifeā€¬. But we do anyway and have a special refined well tested style for that proved by 14 years of relationships.

Someday I might share that. However, as for now gonna wish my Martusya the best in Taiwan and looking forward to our next date somewhere special šŸ˜˜

I donā€™t talk about this often because there are much more worthy topics to be aware off. However, now is probably a relevant time for that.

Not many people know that I am a semi-pro tennis player. Tennis is a great sport and an amazing tool to establish meaningful networking connections, maintain the fitness level and set some personal challenges.

This year I played 9 tournaments of the International Tennis Federation, Masters league in 6 different countries winning three and becoming a runner up in two competitions which brought me into the top-100 players of my 35+ y.o. ranking world wide.

At the same time I lost some matches but gained many new friends. Things happen in tennis like in life and it can be a serious rollercoaster.

Moreover, sport had always been a diplomatic tool and I managed somehow to connect the above multiple moving parts into a unique combination.

Here is an interesting article on how I utilize tennis in order to build meaningful relations, travel, develop personally and serve for a greater good.

Read on our NomadMania blog - nomadmania.com/tennis-in-every-country/

Sincerely thanks to everyone whom I met on the court. Letā€™s carry on and until next time we hit the ball.

New Open Position in our NomadMania Team.

A lot has changed since our last hire announcement in March. During the last five months we launched a brand new app, started the Conference no. 5 registrations, published tons of new features and developed a lot overall.

NomadMania is turning into a serious travel tech company. Our team is small and the work environment is "very active". The position below is quite demanding, as our goal is to develop the best possible travel service.

Now we are looking for a Content & Marketing Manager who will become the Employee no. 6 in the company undertaking a vast range of important and challenging tasks.

See the details and apply here - nomadmania.com/content-marketing-manager/

This is a paid remote full-time position. Please share it with someone if you think this can be a good fit. At the end of the day you'll benefit from this too.

As a result of recent ruSSian attack on Lviv over 188 buildings have been damaged (in bigger or smaller form). Residential buildings, historical heritage, schools. 20 of those are in a very bad condition.

If your company or organization wants to patronize a particular object and participate in the reconstruction process please contact the Investment Depart of Lviv City Council - investinlviv.com/

Letā€™s look into the future and remember those who died due to a ruthless aggression.

Some of the strongest feelings in my life I experienced upon visiting Novoselivka village (just outside of Chernihiv) in Northern Ukraine as a war reporter a few days after the ruSSian retreat back in early April 2022.

The ruble remained from a village left me speechless. Since then Iā€™ve seen many bad things in Ukraine and other crisis areas all around the Globe which strengthened my emotions and probably made me somehow colder.

Quite often I receive various requests for help and support. Unfortunately there is a lot of scam around and itā€™s hard to figure out the truth without diving deep into every case. So, if the things are not clear, I simply ignore focusing on what I know matters for sure instead.

Recently Iā€™ve been contacted by a woman called Kristina Stukalo asking to support the construction of her house destroyed by ruSSians. Considering that around 16 million Ukrainians fled their homes due to a war this is unfortunately a very common case, too common.

In return I asked Kristina where is her house located. She answered - Novoselivka. Then I showed her my video and she pointed out the exact location. I started to cry because this brought me back to that moment in early April 2022.

Kristina is 29 y.o. Together with her husband they are raising 5 kids. I donā€™t know how did they manage to survive or where did they get the courage to come back home (which is not that far from the ruSSian border) instead of having an option to live on a full welfare somewhere in Western Europe.

This is her instagram with more materials on rebuilding the house (address: Zatyshna str. 5, Novoselivka, Chernihiv oblast, Ukraine) - www.instagram.com/kristina_stukalo

This is my report from Novoselivka - https://youtu.be/10NeeQCGXMg

And this a direct link to help Kristina rebuild the house - send.monobank.ua/jar/3x6CDAgnCg

What a story - a pure example of the resiliency of Ukrainians that everyone use to talk about two years ago but often forger now.

Sincerely wish Kristina to rebuilt her house fast, raise a healthy and happy family and all the luck in further life.

ā€œThe one who doesnā€™t know their past, does not have a futureā€.

It happened that after the WW2 all four of my grandparents have been forcefully deported with their families from their home.

My motherā€™s line goes from Lemko area and fatherā€™s from Chelm, both in modern day Poland. Me and my parents were born and grew up in Lviv, Ukraine. However Lemko and Chelm people are scattered all around the world.

Considering that Lemkos are the westernmost sub-ethno group of Ukrainians and lived in relatively isolated mountainous region, they managed to develop a unique language, architecture and customs.

Despite almost no Lemkos live in the Lemko region anymore, still every year they travel from all around to join Łemkowska Watra w Zdyni festival to celebrate Lemko culture.

This year I specifically filmed a video about Lemkod, although in Ukrainian only (https://youtu.be/Z43AR9rNBaI). But, please, google if youā€™re interested in this topic.

P.S. From which particular world region is your family coming from?

First picture is the ethnographic map of early 20th century Europe produced in Switzerland.

Second shows an ethnic Ukrainian region of Sloboda.

Ethnic means that people of particular common origin have been living there for centuries as the majority.

Third map shows current Russo-Ukrainian war map with the frontline, action on the battlefield and occupied territories.

Forth - the progress of recent Ukrainian attack into Russia.

If Ukraine would be like Russia we could claim these territories as ā€œHistorical Ukrainian Landsā€. But we donā€™t. We respect international law and the principles of ā€œborders integrityā€.

Itā€™s much more simple! You canā€™t win on the ring by defending only. The abuser has to receive punch in the face. Only then he understands to pull back.

Thatā€™s it šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Letā€™s carry on.

A few years ago no one new the term ā€œThe Global Southā€. Now itā€™s all over reminding us about the rise of the developing countries, which donā€™t want to be associated with the ā€œThird Worldā€ anymore. And there is legit reason for that.

We at NomadMania developed a so called ā€œLow Passport Indexā€ praising and encouraging travellers from the countries with a weak passport.

This is just a small contribution to help equalize things around. However, obviously there are much more important matters to consider.

For example - the threat of a global hunger.

Many people blame war in Ukraine for that. However it is ruSSia to be blamed for starting the war, occupying Ukrainian agrarian lands and blocking ports which export food to the Global South eventually.

P.S. Not long time ago I visited Bangladesh and spoke with locals regarding what do they think about the Russo-Ukrainian war. Itā€™s pretty eye opening. See - https://youtu.be/wX6bXvpi9-w
