they were SO CLOSE to making this event perfection, but to do so would mean that they would have to delay it for another 1-2 weeks, and a halloween event in mid ocotber ending in the beginning of december is just not worth it (+ we still have the "mid november" update) so they had to sacrifice this event to ensure that the permanent thing (new gamemode) is gonna be good
they just needed more time, i hope they learn to not overestimate their time while making updates from now on
