Hi everyone, long time no see. I just want to make an announcement for anyone still interested in this channel. You might remember one of the videos I uploaded some time ago, "The World's Most Famous Fairy Tales's Beauty and the Beast" to be precise. I translated the Romanian dub of the episode into English, but I chose to upload the Italian dub on here for a few reasons:
1. It just sounds better; trust me, the Romanian dub is pretty awkward to listen to.
2. After doing some research on this series (Anime sekai no dōwa), there seems to be two major versions to it: the original Japanese one and the Italian cut. The latter seems to be the one subsequent European dubs are based on (including the Romanian one), so I chose that as the default. (More info on this here: it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_fiab...)
In hindsight, my translation on that episode (which I chose for no particular reason) is not great. It reads unnatural in places, and I was simply not prepared yet for this kind of work. My translation skills have since improved, though, and I've read all the comments and requests from that video, and I now feel ready to undertake the task of translating all 26 episodes of the series (as well as redoing the translation for the "Beauty and the Beast" episode). I can't promise you how long this project will take (because of work and all), or even when I will upload the whole thing (and how, for that matter). But rest assured that it is one of my top priorities at the moment, so stay tuned.

Hi everyone, I have a question: are you fine if I upload videos on Odysee (a video platform similar to YouTube but without corporate restrictions) or is the Internet Archive just fine? I'm asking because I'm interested in seeing people's opinions on this. If most of the responses are pro-Odysee, I will start uploading there too if I have the means.

Hi all, it's been a long time since I've uploaded something on this channel. The reason why is quite simple: I just don't have anything noteworthy to upload anymore - at least here on YouTube. But don't worry, I'm still alive and still relatively active. And I've also read every single comment received over time.
I initially started uploading on this channel to preserve rare pieces of media related to fairy tales (my greatest passion), but - as stated before - not anymore. Partially because there are other channels that do a much better job than me, and partially because I've decided to move over to the Internet Archive, where the possibility of preserving rare obscure media is higher. But don't worry, the videos on this channel are still up, and I have them backed up on my hard-disk. However, I've privatized the "Animated Tales of the World" videos, since the whole series was uploaded by the channel "Russian animation eus347 subtitles", and I felt bad taking away views from it. Also note that certain videos are blocked in Japan or Germany, for those who cannot access them.
