Hey, guys! I know it's too late, but CONGRATULATIONS to UKRAINE for winning this year's Eurovision Song Contest! It wasn't my bet, but I am still happy with it nonetheless. Next year's Eurovision will be interesting since Ukraine's still in conflict with Russia. There's no way that this country can host ESC (sorry to burst your bubble President Zelensky) as it jeopardizes the safety of the contestants. But seeing other countries (Spain, UK, Sweden, Italy) who are willing to be host countries for next year's ESC made me realize that this is our way to give support to each other.
I have to admit that there were gaffes and anomalies in this year's ESC in Italy, but what's done is done. I hope we all learn from this. Slava Ukrayni!!!
To those who were with me on this online journey, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I had fun filming reaction videos to different national finals, songs, and even the artists as well! I got to meet new friends online, gained followers and subscribers, and grew my channel! They also told me that I should watch ESC live! Of course!!! It's one of my bucket lists!!! MASSIVE THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!

Now, the second semi-final results are in, and these are the ten songs that will advance to the grand finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022!!!
Some key takeaways:
1) The 2nd semi-finals was a BLOOD BATH. I mean???!!!! I couldn’t even comprehend that most of my favorite songs are in the 2nd semi-finals.
2) The hosts are less awkward, and the entire show’s better.
3) The camera angles are still awkward, I can still see some crew members running behind, and one of the hands of the audience was caught while Emma Muscat was dancing (or kneeling), but not complaining because that part was cringe AF.
4) Il Volo performing Grande Amore! I was about to sing along in Italian but when they started singing in English, I was fuming mad. I mean c’mon!!! A top ITALIAN song from ESC2015, performed by an Italian trio at an Italian venue sung in ENGLISH was just absolute crap. But yeah, not gonna lie, I still like the English version but then again, it felt like eating Bolognese but instead of ragú, ketchup was used as a sauce. Ugh.
5) I was gutted about the NQ of Cyprus. But, I was kinda expecting it after watching her rehearsals and jury performance. It was out-of-tune.
6) Belgium qualified for the grand finals?! I mean…
7) I ALMOST DIED when there was only one spot left. I was shouting Serbia because there’s no way Serbia won’t qualify this year. Eventually, they called Serbia and I was relieved.

Let's talk about the results of the first semi-finals of Eurovision 2022. Based on my prediction, I got 6 out of 10 (Lithuania, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, and Norway). I am happy that Iceland made it to the finals. However, the biggest NQ shocker was Albania. Honestly? The ESC version was underwhelming as I preferred the NF version.
Here are my key takeaways from the first semi-finals:
1) The postcard was WTF. I mean, seriously? It could've been executed/presented better. My personal favorites are 2016 and 2019.
2) The camera angles were a bit chaotic. I saw technical crew members running behind the stage while Latvia was performing.
3) The hosts were a bit awkward with each other. It felt that they didn't know each other well, or maybe...JUST MAYBE... it's just an Italian thing/culture.
