I visited the Mogollon Rim a few weeks ago to hike and camp and the weather and views were amazing! There are so many great places to camp in the area. I camped at the Mogollon Campground. This campground provided easy access to the Rim Trail and Woods Canyon Lake. See my campground and trail guide video (https://youtu.be/e8URQDiLGKk?si=CPTAw...) to help you plan your visit. I'll also be publishing a video guide to hiking the Woods Canyon Lake Loop Trail later this week.

Hello,

Last weekend I made the trip up to Prescott, Arizona to do some moonlight kayaking in Watson Lake. But, thunderstorms tore through the area in the afternoon and threatened to wreck my plans.

I'll be publishing the video of my adventure tomorrow, so check out my channel soon to see how it all turned out.

Hi,

This past weekend I visited Casa Grande Ruins National Monument near Coolidge, Arizona. There's lots of interesting history here of the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People who redirected and harnessed the nearby Gila River leading to the development a successful agricultural society in this area.

The primitive series of ditches that they created was the largest and most complex of all prehistoric canal systems in North America.

The centerpiece of the village, Casa Grande, or "Great House," was built in the mid-14th century, however 100 years later, the inhabitants began leaving the village, eventually abandoning it.

I'll be posting a video later this week that examines the mysteries surrounding Casa Grande including: what was it used for and the possible reasons why was it abandoned.

Look for the video to be posted soon!

Hi,

Another beginner mountain biking trail guide is coming later this week featuring Papago Park.

This was my first time riding the trails in the northwest section of the park—I usually ride the southern section in the Tempe side of the park.

Video coming soon!

Hi,

Last weekend, I visited San Tan Mountain Regional Park for the first time. I consider myself to be a beginner or intermediate mountain biker, so this park was perfect for my skill level. The San Tan and Moonlight Trails contain flat, easy stretches as well as more challenging up & downhills with a few rocky turns mix in.

The video trail guide will be published later this week--so check back soon for my latest video!

Hi,

Last weekend I hiked in the Superstition Mountains to two unique rock formations--the Praying Hands and the Slot Rock. Some of the trails can be tricky to follow at times and I got off course a couple times, but it didn't spoil an otherwise great hike.

I'll publish the video trail guide later this week.

Until then, enjoy a few of the photos I took during the hike.

Hi,

Sunday morning was a great time to hike to The Flatiron in the Superstition Mountains, before the summer heat sets in. This was my first time hiking the Siphon Draw Trail to the top, and I can definitely say it's the most difficult hike I've done since I moved to Arizona last summer.

Here are a few photos from the trail. The full trail guide video will be published soon.

More to come!

Hello,

I drove to Tucson, AZ over the weekend to hike in Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park and I also camped at Gilbert Ray Campground. The weather was great and the wildflowers were blooming in the desert. Look for 2 new videos soon highlighting the campground and trail guides for the Brown Mountain Trail in Tucson Mountain Park and the King Canyon Trail to Wasson Peak in Saguaro National Park.

More to come!
