Do you remember the scene in The Karate Kid when Daniel realizes that Mr. Miyagi wasnโt only teaching him how to wash windows, but also how to fight and deal with life's challenges?
After reflecting on my 20 years of Hoop Dancing, Iโve realized that my focus has been mostly on the performance aspect. The tricks, the entertainment. However, as I look back on my life as a hoop dancer, I see that the hoops were teaching me much more than I thought. As I continue my journey, my mission is to reveal these principles that lie within this traditional dance and to share these teachings in a way that can help and inspire Humans.
